Art and wine merge in Vins de Pedra. The wine cellar icons wear the work of Víctor Pedra, painter, sculptor and Marta’s godfather. Uncle Victor, as she calls him, is an artist by profession and is part of a surrealistic style where a muscular woman is the protagonist. This female figure, La Musa (The Muse), is surrounded by a rich iconography. Birds, horses, harlequins, palm trees … form her world and reinforce her sensuality.

Victor has a reserved character and he fled the big city to Alberola. In this village with four houses at the end of La Noguera River he rediscovers the roots of his family. Surrounded by a barren, dry and hard landscape he creates his work. Victor found his inspiration there. There he has a small studio full of sculptures and paintings. Some are already ready and waiting to be packed into a recognized gallery. At the room Dalmau in the heart of Barcelona, he exposes regularly. His style captivates dealers and profanes alike.
“Today Marta is proud to look at the work of his uncle in the labels of her wines”
Victor’s sympathy for Marta is reciprocal. When she was a child he filled the walls with paintings where the niece was the protagonist. For Easter he sculpted with chocolate and for Christmas he always brought some piece from his latest collection. Perhaps it is true that Victor granddaughter is the muse. Today Marta is proud to look at the work of his uncle in the labels of her wines.
